My school magazine cover
Colour scheme
The colours I have chosen to be on my magazine are yellow, black and white. My writing is going to be yellow and the background where I have writing such as my header bar is black. Blank spaces are white so the main images stand out more. I chose these colours because it fits in with the school logo. I will consistently use these colours to make sure all the pages match and they aren't dramatically different.
Layout
On my magazine cover I have started to included subsidiary images of some students and a teacher. I have also included a main image of which I took myself of a student at King Henry school. I chose the name 'BREAK-TIME' for my masthead because it highlights the fact that it sounds like a magazine you would buy at break time. I have added a header and footer bar to make ther magazine bold and stand out.

A good first attempt, Megan. You have displayed a goo understanding of the codes and conventions of magazine covers. You have also used InDesign and Photoshop successfully to create a conventional layout and design for your page.
